IEC Computers (IECC) started in 1997 as a dealer of computers components. IECC has always been confident investing in its people. It is the belief of the company that their employees are more than hired help, they are partners in business. IECC is proud of their employment turnover record of less than 5% in its seven years of operations. Currently, IECC has 24 employees. Fourteen of them are in technical support. This is to support the thrust of IECC to deliver efficient and responsive service, particularly the after-sales support. IECC is also a Microsoft Partner since 2002 and continues to be strong advocate for intellectual property rights. IECC was awarded by ECS as Most Valuable Marketing Partner from 2001 to present. In 2002, IECC was also recognized as Fujitsu Valued Vendor. Since 2002, IECC was consistently awarded Western Digital Harddisk Valued Reseller and was elevated to Western Digital Select Partner in 2005. Recently (September 2006), IECC was launched as the exclusive master dealer for Negros Island (including the Oriental) for the complete line of Brother products. Printers, Fax, Sewing Machines, and Labelling Systems. The launching was graced by our (Bacolod) City Mayor and Vice-Mayor, Evelio Leonardia and Renecito Novero respectively. Brother top-man GM Toshiaki Isayama made much effort to catch a red-eye flight from the UK to be present at the launching. In November 2006, IECC was launched as the sole and exclusive distributor of Canon A3 Business Copiers for Occidental Negros. These alliances created opportunities for IECC to train its employees with the experts in the industry. IECC printer division staff had been trained by Canon, Epson, Lexmark and Brother technical managers. Sales and technical staff periodically attend technology update trainings and seminars.
